GlobalLB::Server::create_device

Introduced : BIG-IP_v13.0.0
Create a new device associated with a server and add device addresses to it. Every server consists of one or more devices. In the case where multiple devices are configured, the assumption is these devices are in a failover group or are logically represented as a single server.

Prototype

 create_device(
    in GlobalLB__Server__DeviceDefinition [] devices,
    in String [] [] ips
);

Parameters

Parameter Type Description
devices DeviceDefinition [] The list of devices.
ips String [] [] The addresses to add to the devices.

Return Type

Exceptions

Exception Description
Common::AccessDenied Raised if the client credentials are not valid.
Common::InvalidArgument Raised if one of the arguments is invalid.
Common::OperationFailed Raised if an operation error occurs.
