LocalLB::RateClass::set_shaping_policy_drop_policy

Introduced : BIG-IP_v10.1.0
Sets the name of the drop policy in a shaping policy, specifying how the rate filter drops packets when throttling traffic. Three pre-defined drop policies exist. “fred” drops packets according to the type of traffic. “red” drops packets randomly. “tail” drops packets from the end of the queues. See the drop policy methods for more information.

Parameters

Parameter Type Description
policies String [] Names of the shaping policies to modify
drop_policies String [] Name of the drop policy for each specified shaping policy (default: “tail”)

Exception Description
Common::AccessDenied Raised if the client credentials are not valid.
Common::InvalidArgument Raised if one of the arguments is invalid.
Common::OperationFailed Raised if an operation error occurs.
