Management::UserManagement::set_role

Introduced : BIG-IP_v9.0
This method is now deprecated. Please use set_user_permission in its stead, which uses a larger concept of user roles. Change the user&aposs role.

Prototype

 set_role(
    in String [] user_names,
    in UserRole [] roles
);

Parameters

Parameter Type Description
user_names String [] The user names.
roles UserRole [] The new roles.

Exceptions

Exception Description
Common::AccessDenied Raised if the client credentials are not valid.
Common::OperationFailed Raised if an operation error occurs.
Common::InvalidArgument Raised if one of the arguments is invalid.
