DNS::len

Description¶

This iRules command returns the dns packet message length.

Note: This command requires the DNS Profile, which is only enabled as part of GTM or the DNS Services add-on.

Syntax¶

DNS::len

DNS::len¶

Returns the dns packet message length
Note that when DNSSEC is used, DNS::len will contain the length of the reply before DNSSEC records are added to the reply.
