About BIG-IP Feature Add-on Modules

Because F5 products are built on a modular platform, they’re extensible by design and can easily incorporate new functions. For more information about these modules that include specific iRule functionality, please visit the BIG-IP Add-On Modules section of www.f5.com

About Early Access (EA)

In F5 products, there are a number of features that are under active development that have not been fully productized. Referred to as “Early Access” (EA) features, they may be in various states of completion ranging from untested, beta-level stability to fully supported implementation. In many cases, the EA features are only a subset of the entire feature set under development. They vary in feature completeness, stability, and documentation levels and are therefore intended to be used at the customer’s own discretion.
The documentation, training and knowledge of these EA features are unsupported. When EA features are made available to select customers and partners, F5 is aiming to get early feedback from users on stability as well as feature and functionality completeness.
For customers and partners interested in accessing and evaluating EA functionality, a valid license key is required. To obtain this license key, users must submit an application through your F5 Account Manager . Please note that while we welcome all inquiries, unfortunately F5 cannot accept all applications. Applicants will be notified in a timely manner if their application has been accepted or denied.
