F5 BIG-IP Cloud-Native Edition consists of the following parts:

Part	Description
CNE core	A set of cluster-wide control-plane and data-plane-supporting components that all CNE instances depend on
CNE instance	The underlying data-plane component—the F5 Traffic Management Microkernel (TMM) workload—and control-plane components for an F5 BIG-IP Cloud-Native Edition product. After installing a CNE instance, you create custom resources to configure it as a working instance of an F5 BIG-IP Cloud-Native Edition product.
