PEM::Policy::add_rule

Introduced : BIG-IP_v11.4.0
Adds a set of rules for the specified policies.

Prototype

 add_rule(
    in String [] policies,
    in String [] [] rules,
    in long [] [] precedences
);

Parameters

Parameter Type Description
policies String [] The names of the policies.
rules String [] [] The rules that are added for the specified policies.
precedences long [] [] The precedence values corresponding to the rules. A precedence specifies the values for the rules that may conflict. This way, it is clear what order the rules will be executed. The range is 1 to 4294967295, where 1 has the highest precedence. It is mandatory to specify precedence when creating a rule in a policy.

Exception Description
Common::AccessDenied Raised if the client credentials are not valid.
Common::InvalidArgument Raised if one of the arguments is invalid.
Common::OperationFailed Raised if an operation error occurs.
