IP Intelligence policy with Feedlist

IP Intelligence (IPI) policy can be configured in Global context CR and or applied at per virtual server context as well. Each policy contains a list of categories and actions that can be customized, with the IPRep database being common. Feedlist-based policies can also customize the IP addresses configured. Feedlists pull feed files from remote systems and are then referenced by the IPI policy.

Requirements

Ensure you have:

• BIG-IP Controller installed.
• A Linux-based workstation.

Use Case configuration

1. Host feedlist file on the server. To host the feedlist file, follow the steps from Configuring IP Intelligence Feedlist Server Credentials using Kubernetes Secrets section.
2. Create and apply F5BigIpiFeedlist CR and use the server URL from step 1, where the feedlist file is hosted.
3. Edit F5BigIpiCategoryList CR to add any custom category
4. Create and apply F5BigIpiPolicy CR.
5. (Optional) Enable HSL logging. To enable logging, see IP Intelligence Logging page.
