Security::FirewallPolicy::add_fw_rule_with_rule_list

Introduced : BIG-IP_v11.4.0
Adds firewall rules to the specified firewall policies, having each of those rules point at a rule list. This method is intended as a convenience to prevent you from having to add firewall rules as a transaction. See the Security::FirewallRuleList interface for more information on rule lists.

Prototype

 add_fw_rule_with_rule_list(
    in String [] policies,
    in String [] [] rules,
    in Common__FirewallRulePlacement [] [] placements,
    in String [] [] lists,
    in FirewallRuleState [] [] states
);

Parameters

Parameter Type Description
policies String [] The firewall policies to modify.
rules String [] [] The firewall rules to add to the firewall policies, with one nested list of rules for each firewall policy. A firewall rule may not be named “first” or “last”; see the documentation for FirewallRulePlacement.
placements FirewallRulePlacement [] [] The placement (ordering) information for the firewall rules, with one nested list of rule placements for each firewall policy. See add_fw_rule for a full description of the semantics of this parameter.
lists String [] [] The names of the rule list objects to be pointed at by the rule entries given here.
states FirewallRuleState [] [] The initial enabled state for the firewall rules, with one nested list of states for each virtual server.

Common::AccessDenied Raised if the client credentials are not valid.
Common::InvalidArgument Raised if one of the arguments is invalid.
Common::OperationFailed Raised if an operation error occurs.
